I am an interdisciplinary artist and producer. Through my work I aim to shed light on the neglected beauty of that which exists on the margins (not always political), specifically of contemporary bohemia, the experience of those born at the end of generation X, and the performance traditions of the African diaspora. Most recently, I have produced short documentaries and music videos about underground hip-hop and contemporary pop art. My films have been screened internationally at festivals, museums, and universities, as well as broadcast throughout the US. I was born in Los Angeles, and my fascination with popular culture and fashion is the result of being raised in a post-Hippie household with limited access to television and a treasure trove of Barbie dolls.

Karma (Sanskrit: karma, karman) means "act, action, performance.

Lux (Latin, symbol: lx) is the SI unit of illuminance and luminous emittance; literally "light".
